Project TrastMic
> I was tired of the dark lecture halls, especially during exams when you couldn't take out your phone to track the time. I decided I needed a smartwatch, so I made one!
> The Opensource Smartwatch is a project by Paul Smith with a large community backing. I made a video breaking down the process of buying the proper parts, putting it together, and flashing the firmware (C/C++). I also helped figure out how to program custom backgrounds for the watch. For some time, the video was the go-to guide in DIYing this smartwatch.
> The electronics were cased in a TPU shell to add water resistance. The shell was then encased by a 3D-printed body with a glass face.
> From the time I made this watch to the day I graduated, I wore it to every exam.
